Clean tech innovator Advanced Hydrogen Technologies (AHT) features in the latest royal

This prestigious coffee-table-style hardback book is to mark His Majesty’s coronation and 75th birthday and is written by King Charles biographer Robert Jobson, a number-one New York Times and Sunday Times best-selling author and royal correspondent.

It presents examples of achievement and progress during his lifetime across social, cultural, technological and commercial spheres, – highlighting the work of selected organisations – and AHT is the only hydrogen company included.

The company’s write up highlights their initial hydrogen-powered carbon clean and capture work to help reduce particulate emissions in internal combustion engines in the transport sector, plus the more recent challenge of finding an off-grid replacement for natural gas that can be safely integrated into a domestic central-heating system for new builds and retrofit, using the pure hydrogen it generates from tap water via electrolysis.

Ben Katterhorn, CEO for AHT, said: “What an honour it is to be included in this unique publication, which reflects on the ideas King Charles has passionately championed throughout his life – like sustainability and ESG.

“It’s been a whirlwind year for AHT, starting with our Chimera system being named the best brand in the Domestic category at the 2023 Hydrogen Awards, but this really is the royal icing on the cake and a sign of much greater things to come for the business.” The new book was unveiled by royal publisher St James’s House at Claridge’s in London to a select audience of 400+ attending guests and Tier 1 members of the press.
